Just 15km from Hoi An Ancient Town, VinWonders Nam Hoi An felt like it was in a completely different world.
For travelers who want everything in one trip, the Vinpearl Land Nam Hoi An is the perfect way to experience it all.
Vietnam’s First River Safari
I started my adventure at The River Safari is a highlight here. As I silently drifted down the river, I slowly passed giraffes munching on trees, tigers sleeping in the shade, and zebras running along the riverbank.
Many families choose the Nam Hoi An full day private tour to enjoy the safari along with other attractions in one day.
Note: the last safari is at 4:30 PM, so plan accordingly.
Folk Island: Traditions Brought to Life
Next, I wandered over to Folk Island, which is the “folk” culture area of the park. It had the traditional houses of Vietnam’s ethnic groups as well as activities where artisans made pottery, paper, and woven goods.
The best part here for me was all the cultural shows that happened all day, bringing to life traditional festivals as well as village life and folk performances. This is a great place for international visitors to experience Vietnam’s traditions in a fun way.

Lunch: Buffet Charge
By midday, it was time for lunch. I headed over to one of the park’s buffet restaurants, which offered Vietnamese and international food.

Play Games Inside and Outside
After another lazy lunch, I made my way into Adventure Land. The outdoor rides, including the coaster and the tower drops, had my hair standing up on my head (the 360° Twister was no weakling either).
As the sun continued to heat up the day, I ventured into the indoor amusement rides, where I could leap on trampolines (and fall off), steer a dance machine that switches up your dance moves, and play virtual reality games in the arcade.

Water Park Experience
When I finally got ready to go to the water park, it was still hot outside. The Lazy River was a perfect ending to my day, while the Wave Pool and huge slide, the Boomerang, and the Tornado brought out my inner child.
Another great boost was watching families and friends all together screaming and laughing, going down the slides.
