Đồi Móng Ngựa (Horseshoe Rice Terrance)

The shape of this hill resembles a horseshoe, like its name. The uniqueness of this hill lies in the layers of rice paddies that wrap all the way around it.
Behind the hill is a backdrop of rolling hills and mountains that seem to never end.

    Photography tip

Capture a wider shot of the rice terraces using a wide-angle lens and take advantage of the high vantage point to show off the entire curve of the rice paddies.

Kim Noi Rock Viewpoint (Mỏm Đá Kim Nọi)

Kim Noi has one of the best views in the entire area, allowing you to see the surrounding mountains, clouds, and fields of rice paddies.
As you stand on the rock viewpoint, it appears that the sky, mountains, and drifting clouds blend to create a single poetic scene.

    Photography tip

I personally think that the best way to shoot this view is from the Kim Noi rock ledge. From there, you can see the depth and drama of the surrounding landscape.

Mam Xoi Hill is well known for its circularly-shaped rice paddies, which resemble a traditional Vietnamese sticky rice plate. This is the classic picture postcard image of northern Vietnam.
This is one of the most photographed rice paddies in the region. If you've ever seen pictures of golden rice fields in Mu Cang Chai, then it was probably taken here.
